The Melbourne International Shooting Club offers both smallbore rifle and pistol shooting at 10m (indoors), 25m and 50m.

Formed in 1955, MISC is the current training venue for many of our national rifle, pistol and modern pentathlon team members.

An extensive calendar of events is offered with a broad range of shooting activities catering for all levels - from beginners to international class shooters. Coaching sessions are also conducted at various times at no cost to members.

No Parking

We have recently had some problems with our dumpster pickups owing to cars being parked in front of them during daytime hours. We ask all members to refrain from parking directly in front of the dumpsters & to park to the sides during daytime hours.

We also remind members that we have a number of disabled members so we ask members to be considerate of their needs and leave the concrete parking bays directly in front of the clubroom open for these members.

 
Chris Roberts selected for Thailand Shoot

Club member and newly elected club captain Chris Roberts is off to Bangkok this weekend for the Thailand Open/Nationals which is being held concurrently with the World Cup Final. Chris is one of only 4 Pistol Australia Train-on Squad (PATS) members to achieve selection after qualifying in the trials held earlier this year. Chris will be competing in Air & Free Pistol events and we wish him well in his events.
 
Club Championship Trophy Presentation BBQ

The presentation for Club Championship medals will be held on Saturday 6th December at 4pm.  All members are encouraged to come along and enjoy the presentation and BBQ.
